GItHub Copilot not working in VS Code #120294
-
Select Topic AreaBug BodyI have an active subscription of Copilot, however, when I open VS Code (copilot extension installed and updated), I do not see the copilot icon in the bottom right corner. Any commands that I type in the command palette related to Copilot, I get an error. So I opened the Output terminal in VS Code and specifically the Extension Host to see what is going on. All other extensions are working but I am getting this error for the Copilot extension: 2024-04-19 17:05:06.403 [info] ExtensionService#_doActivateExtension GitHub.copilot-chat, startup: false, activationEvent: 'onStartupFinished' |

@rohaankhalid the latest version of the chat extension is 0.13.x, please try upgrading and let us know how you go. |

I tried the latest version as well, I finally got it work by resetting the settings.json file. I went to the copilot extension settings and from there I accessed the settings.json file.
