Could you detail your steps and where the error happens? I am assuming you use the github GUI (website) rather than git (commandline). Typically, you can navigate to the repository you want to upload to. There is a button called "add files" next to the green "code" button. Click it, then "upload files". You can drag and drop your files in and then commit. |

Try using Visual Studio Code. First, open the folder that contains your project. Next, press 'Ctrl + Shift + G' to access the Git interface within VS Code. This will show you the changes you've made to your project. In the Git interface on the left side of VS Code, you'll see the files with changes marked. Type your commit message in the text field at the top of the Git panel. After typing your commit message, click the checkmark icon above the text field to commit your changes. |
