As a developer, I would like to be able to set programmatically the description for a given Github Package Build:

I see two possible options for this but there could well be more.

Option One

Support propagation of the description key in the Maven POM through to the GithHub Package Build Description.

Option Two

Create an API to set the GitHub Package Build Description using token authorisation.

Currently the webpage uses a API requiring Cookie authorisation:

Although this endpoint works, cookie authorisation is a pain and token authorisation should be preferred. An API should be made on the api.github.com domain.
