Currently the api mentions that you can update a permission by calling the Add Collaborator API and pass the permission you want.
How do I remove a permission? Is there a way to add or remove the role (admin, write, read)?
How can I add multiple permissions? or remove?
From the docs.
The permission to grant the collaborator. Only valid on organization-owned repositories. We accept the following permissions to be set: pull, triage, push, maintain, admin and you can also specify a custom repository role name, if the owning organization has defined any.
