I followed the instruction for Elite Dangerous. Instructions are good. Elite Dangerous installed.
Running the game gave me the famous "Lost connection" error. Under options you can select the correct network adapter.
BUT in my case, non of the adapters worked. Wireles, wired, none of the cards worked. I suspect it has something to do with Ubiquity network configuration. BUT I got Elite Dangerous working with the following workaround.
I started a VPN connection (I use Surfshark as a VPN provider), Then start Whisky, steam, and Elite.
Selected the correct adapter that points to the VPN, exit the game, restart the game and voila, Eite is working.
I thought I'd post this for those who struggle with the same issue.
