That said, looks like errors are being triggered from multiple points in the Homebrew code, so the messaging is a bit confusing.

That tap is officially deprecated, as indicated by the message at the top of the repo. You should uninstall any casks and instead use the temurin casks as described in the deprecation notice.

I'm not sure if this is an issue to be reported. Based on p-linnane's comment, uninstalled the current version and installed the temurin build. Thanks!
