Regarding label issues

I've noticed that many projects don't have the GSSOC Ext or Hacktoberfest labels. Could you clarify how to identify projects that are part of these initiatives and what I should do if the labels are missing but I still want to contribute?

The projects which you can find on the official GSSoC website are all a part of this program.
You can see all the projects over here: https://gssoc.girlscript.tech/project
If the labels are missing on any of the issues then you can ask the project admins or mentors to add them.

@sumitkumar9128 dont worry you can contribute to any projects which are present on gssoc website in gssoc-ext category and for labels we have already told to PA and mentors to add however you can still tell them to add the labels and if they didnt add the labels after asking them again and again then you can let us know we will help you

And also be careful about checking the ‘hacktober fest’ label to the assigned issue. If it’s not linked to the issue assigned to you, then you may ask the owner of the repo or any other mentor.

Also, login to Hacktober Fest and check your PRs so that it is updated to date.

Note that Labels on PRs is must not on issues , I mean if PA didnt add labels to Issues then its okay you dont have to worry about it @sumitkumar9128 @ChitteshKumar
