Description

Adding the Steering Committee Proposal template to the website would be a good way to support democratic participation.

What to add

  • In /resources#brigade-ops

  • title: Steering Committee Proposal Template

  • author: OpenOakland

  • description: Copy this template and use it to develop and submit your proposal for brigade operations or strategy (for project ideas, see the Project Exploration Worksheet).

  • category: Brigade Ops

  • format: Google Doc

  • URL: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1MoTuET3gl3YE3DAyylAt2D_vHiihZS45xKLd5kCjlWA/edit

  • In /how-we-work > FAQ > Adding to the Agenda

What can I add to the agenda?

Agenda items should be relevant to brigade-wide strategy and operations. This could include proposals for new projects, events or partnerships, policy or process changes, general discussion items about how we work together or specific activities, and questions, concerns, or feedback for the group. Projects who need brigade support can also add discussion items to the agenda.

We encourage you to use the Steering Committee Proposal Template, though it's not required. To share project ideas, see the Project Exploration Worksheet instead.

Thank you!
