Methodical verification checks on converted models #51

Original discussion on this topic in #20. We now have a test suite which makes a variety of checks that certain features are handled, surfaces are converted properly, etc., but we don't really have holistic checks on converted models (e.g., volume comparisons, mass comparisons).
