I've checked off a few items. The one about tagging issues on the JOSS/whedon improvements that apply to JOSE only reflects in one issue, but it's completed: openjournals/joss#329
We do not yet have keywords for submission, nor search based on these. We do not have metadata tags.
The sample email to invite reviewers is in the Editor's Guide that I wrote. I've been sending this link to editors when I assign them their first submission, since it's not findable from the JOSE site.
