Where are people liable to employ this promotional graphic? Websites, iOS apps, perhaps even print materials? Within those, where and how? On a website, for instance, would people be inclined to put such an image at the bottom of every page on their site? The home page? The about page? The colophon? What sizes, dimensions, and file formats do we need to support these use cases?
