In november 13th meeting in order to loosen the dependency with a specific core version we decided to relax semantic conventions version in contrib dependencies. This is because we are pretty confident that we will not break backward compatibility.
This may apply to other packages from -core that packages in -contrib are depending on. Maybe some test utils?

Nice to have:

  • rework tests to tests against baseline and lates semconv
