Recently I ran benchkit on a server of the VUB and another student after me also ran their benchmarks using benchkit.
They could not start benchkit however because of the files created in /tmp under my name.
I suspect a simple permission fix could resolve the issue.
I will try to find some time later to do more research into this problem.

Makes sense this kind of bugs happenned. I don't think we ever considered this case. Indeed we could share the permission, and perhaps also putting benchkit user specific stuff elsewhere (perhaps in ~/.benchkit/runs?). I'm working on having valuable files stored in ~/.benchkit, such as a user-level global venv, the latest clone of the package, etc.
