Hello

It would be very helpful if we can also have a NONE level, by which we can silence the logger completely. Or is there already a way to do this?

You can redirect the logging of a backend to ioutil.Discard, like this
backend = logging.NewLogBackend(ioutil.Discard, "", 0)
