MetisMenu._show cannot read property 'scrollHeight' of undefined

Hello,

When alternating between menu items this error is displayed in my terminal

I'm using version 2.7

Do not. When this occurs, the javascript stops responding. To resolve, the page needs to be updated.

just tested it with v3.0.4 and it's still unresolved:
