Is it possible to adapt to stationary arrows

I am looking at adapting this software to show either wind barbs (https://github.com/spatialsparks/Leaflet.windbarb) or simple arrows, does someone know how I might go about doing this?

I have dug through the source code but not being a javascript wizard it has only served to confuse me to be honest
