Preflight Checklist

  • I have searched the issue tracker for a bug report that matches the one I want to file, without success.

OpenComic Version

1.1.0

Operating System

Win10, 22H2, build 19045

Steps to reproduce

Well, I have location that is monitored by OpenComic and manually set some covers for folders with *.cbz files. I finished reading, then deleted folder from explorer (without doing anything in OpenComic). After I opened OpenComic to update library. And after that *.tbn file of deleted folder is still there.

Expected Behavior

I guess it should be deleted.

Actual Behavior

*.tbn file of deleted folder is still there.

OpenComic use Local Artwork Assets structure, adding a cover/poster will create a .tbn file with the same file/folder name in the same location, if you delete the file/folder you currently would also have to delete the .tbn with them, since OpenComic is not auto managing the covers once created (If you sort the folder by file name you should see the .tbn file next to the file/folder)

I think OpenComic should automanages those file in master folders from settings.

If it is only at the beginning of the master folders, I can do it, I will also reconsider it for other folders, if it is not too complicated.

I'll try to add an option in settings for it in the next version.
