[HELP] how to set require("nvim-treesitter.install").prefer_git = true in vimrc?

Describe the bug

I am trying to run TSInstall cpp, but I just couldn't use curl unless I specify the -k flag.

I have tried putting lua require'nvim-treesitter.configs'.install{prefer_git={enable=true}} at the bottom of my ~/.vimrc file, only to get

I have tried everything :(
Honestly I don't know lua. If there's a way to do it without lua, I'd to it. I use vimplug.

To Reproduce

In ~/.vimrc with NVIM v0.8.3:

1. Add Plug 'nvim-treesitter/nvim-treesitter', {'do': ':TSUpdate'} before call plug#end().
2. Add lua require'nvim-treesitter.configs'.install{prefer_git={enable=true}} at the bottom.
3. Launch vim to see the error.

Expected behavior

No error and then TSInstall cpp works.

This won't help either (unless the code base has changed. I wasn't actively watching this project recently.

I would do

lua require'nvim-treesitter.install'.prefer_git=true
