rethink the approach to functions to working with vectors rather than data.frames

Again, this is something we need to learn from from the nutricheckr package.

The current function that is in riycf assumes so much with regard to the data structure required. This is often not ideal. We need to refactor the current function before moving to any other function for now.

@nicholustintzaw are you still itnerested in addressing this issue? I think we need to start improving and refactoring this package as it is becoming dated and the functions really need to be improved
