Shouldn't the total amount be updated after somebody has paid? If it remains the same, then it might be very misleading to the user. I can easily misunderstand it.

Team's Response

The total amount of the bill is not supposed to decrease after one person has paid. It is used to record the total amount spent on each individual bill as an information instead of tracking the total amount owed. We only track the names of the people who have not paid the bill. The User Guide only mentioned that the name of the person will be removed after he has paid. It never say that the amount will decrease also.
