BEAMnrc "Getting Started" error: SYNCJAWS position data file could not be opened

Hello. I am going through the BEAMnrc section of the Getting Started document but ran into an issue. I thought that I went through section 7.1 correctly but I assume that I did not since when I click Execute --> Run --> EXECUTE I get the following error: ERROR: SYNCJAWS position data file could not be opened. How can I fix this?

Did you do this step in the instructions? It looks like you didn't select the sequence file that you created.

"Copy the text at the end of this section and save the file as example.sequence in
$EGS_HOME/BEAM_syncjaws . Now go back to the settings of the SYNCJAWS CM, click the Browse button and select the file (make sure the mode is set to Dynamic )."

After selecting the sequence file did you save the input using the GUI? It should look something like this, notice how yours is missing the path to the file:

That is the step I was missing, thank you. I was following the instructions in the Getting Started manual and it does not mention saving the input after the sequence file has been selected.

Great! Any time you change an input, you'll need to save before running the simulation to update the input file.
