You could try using the instructions for Linux in general.
If no TUN/TAP device works, and you want to use TUN/TAP to connect local programs (not just route), then you would probably need to provide implementation for them.
Some ideas for such drivers can be seen in other open-source projects, we accept Pull Requests and Patches :)
