It is an external library issue. but there is a hacky workaround in the issue
Or we can fork/change/reimplement the library. This library doesn't look reliable to me...

Last release was 4 years ago (1 year ago for Vue3 compatibility), so it's more reliable to reimplement it, when time allows.

By the applicable usecase, panzoom might work good enough here
