Feed list is garbled.

My news feed menus list is garbled. See pic below. I have checked to make sure everyting is updated. Uninstalled and reinstalled news. Disabled other apps. Rebuilt server. Searched forum for similar issues.

Nothing seems to correct it. The feeds are being updated and I can use it to read news. Just want to figure out how to fix the display list.

Server: Fedora 39
Nextcloud: 28.0.3
News: 24.0.0

Any ideas?

The issue referenced requires an unstable update.

According to the nextcloud app site https://apps.nextcloud.com/apps/news this version is supported in Nextcloud 28

Fully updated according to the app manager.

Did not know if switching to unstable would prevent me from returning to stable in future.

The AppStore includes unstable releases for that statement. In the table at the bottom on that page you can see which versions are actually supported by which news version.

The Alpha actually made it worse. I had to uninstall then reinstall the release version to get it back to a usable state.

That broke it worse. Now I cannot see the selector list or any data in my feeds.
