I used to have on OSX a command to switch barbar tabs:
vim.keymap.set({ "i", "n" }, "<D-[>", function() vim.cmd("BufferPrevious") end) -- previous tab
vim.keymap.set({ "i", "n" }, "<D-]>", function() vim.cmd("BufferNext") end) -- next tab
Now... even though it says command+[, i actually always used the following keys:
command+shift+[
This is because in OSX, command+shift+[ is change tabs in chrome, finder, etc. So this hotkey is engrained in my head as i use it 1000's of times a day,
and trying to use some separate tab swich hotkey when i switch to neovide is pain.
so command+shift+[ has always 'just worked' even when I also press the key thats not even in the mapping, shift. You could say its a "dummy key" just that i press anyway cause its in my muscle memory
Now however out of the blue, it only works when i dont press shift, basically 100% aligning with my mapping
I have tried other mappings like <D-S-[> and <D-{> but it just does not activate the hotkey
Ive also tried using :map <D-S-[> to see whats there conflicting and there is nothing
what might be a way to debug how to get this hotkey working? i have no other hotkeys with shift so im not sure if this is part of the problem, like do i reference the shifted key or shift+nonshifted key
