Wrong window size during plugin loading? #2370
-
I'm using lazy.nvim and the auto-session, and when I open neovide with auto session restoration enabled, all my split panes are squashed into the top left of the window. However, this doesn't occur if I turn off auto restore and manually restore after neovide has started. So I suspect it has something to do with the initial neovide window being somehow very small at the time that the auto-session plugin is executed. Is this a known issue? Are there any workarounds? I've also posed a similar question over at the auto-session repo. |

I've found a workaround here: https://www.reddit.com/r/neovim/comments/mv7cnz/comment/gvai9fp/ Basically it does automatically what I've been doing manually after neovide starts, typing vim.cmd [[
augroup AutoAdjustResize
autocmd!
autocmd VimResized * execute "normal! \<C-w>="
augroup end
]] It would be nice if the underlying problem could be fixed so that this isn't necessary. But since it solves my problem sufficiently enough, I'll close this discussion. |
