📚 New content request

We should add a detailed guide to adding plugin menu contributions outside of the content in NAP-6. A lot of the content will be copied over from NAP-6, but it shouldn't be the main point of contact for plugin devs, particularly once it's accepted and implemented.

Note this document will need to be updated based on decisions and implementation of napari/#7012

  • How to add submenus
  • Categorizing your commands/widgets
  • Using the when and group fields
