Just to inform that I found this package and I saw it is really efficient to obtain COI/COG with this.
I have updated my calculations thanks to this here: https://github.com/pachamaltese/economiccomplexity/blob/master/R/countries_position.R

@n3ssuno I also merged binet, another package I had, into economiccomplexity. Probably we can cooperate again.
