I have downloaded zVirtualDesktop_Win11_22H2.exe and it worked fine. I had customized my hotkeys and they worked. Then, a Windows Update and a restart broke something. My Windows version reports 23H2. After starting, this window pops up:

As a first thing, a titlebar in this message would be appropriate, indicating that it's zVirtualDesktop (it starts automatically on system startup, the user didn't click on it, so it could be anything).

A build for this version is not available... is it? The hotkeys only work if the focus is on the desktop: if a window is focused, hotkeys aren't triggered. I had assigned keys to the "Move Window to Desktop" functions and obviously this can't work anymore... I hope it can be easily fixed, this app is really great!

EDIT: the hotkeys that don't work anymore are:

Navigate to Desktop #1 - WIN+F1
Navigate to Desktop #2 - WIN+F2
Navigate to Desktop #3 - WIN+F3
Navigate to Desktop #4 - WIN+F4

Move Window to Desktop #1 - SHIFT+WIN+F1
Move Window to Desktop #2 - SHIFT+WIN+F2
Move Window to Desktop #3 - SHIFT+WIN+F3
Move Window to Desktop #4 - SHIFT+WIN+F4

Also, while the zVirtualDesktop settings panel is open but in the background (as it is now while I'm typing), PgUp / PgDown keys are captured by the settings panel instead of going to this browser window!

The issue is actually not how I reported. There's only one application where it happens, and it's probably the app's fault; I should roll back to 22H2 and check whether it also happened there but I'm pretty sure it does, and I didn't notice it.

The application is Explorer++: if it has the focus, the WIN key is not propagated; for example, WIN + F3 are just handled as F3 inside Explorer++, and WIN+F1 opens Windows help in the default system browser. I will report it to the Explorer++ author (although there are not recent releases, the code is updated).

The glitch of PgUp/PGDown keys going to the background zVirtualDesktop settings is there, anyway.

A new discovery: the problem of the WIN key not being usable as modifier in hotkeys is related to programs that are running with elevated Administrator privilege. Any time an elevated application is on the foreground, the WIN key is not catched by the zVirtualDesktop key hook.

If I run zVirtualDesktop with elevated privileges then it is able to catch the WIN key over other elevated applications in the foreground.

Same issue - can't install because of windows 23H2. Any news? I'm a previous paying user, would pay/donate extra to have this working again.
