Invalid function: log4e:deflogger #129

After trying to sync my calendars I achieved this error today after running org-gcal-sync

I attempted to manually install log4e but this was previously not needed and didn't solve the issue. It could be doom emacs related.

I'm seeing this now too. I disabled notifications in the meantime: (setq org-gcal-notify-p nil)

I'm not on Doom, but I'm on Emacs 28/master.

The issue appears to be reproducible without org-gcal: M-: (alert "test")

I'll raise an issue on https://github.com/jwiegley/alert
