MPV and EDL

I'm trying to use an EDL file, created by COMSKIP, so my TS file will skip thru the commercials when played.
I thought MPV was capable of doing this, but I just can't find the right command line syntax.
It works OK with MPLAYER, but I'd rather use MPV.
I welcome any thoughts.

I appreciate your response but that document doesn't address the problem as I've described it.
Perhaps what I'm looking for can't be done in MPV? Too bad.

Yes, you need to use the EDL syntax unique to mpv.
