EA Launcher doesn't work

I've uninstalled EA, reinstalled and done everything except a fresh as I don't want to constantly be losing my save files. EA won't let me play because it requires an update that the nonsteamlauncher is unable to perform. Even if I uninstall and reinstall it still requires an update and no games can be played.

@corbett3289 did you run the "repair ea app"? Should be in your library, if it is hit repair.

Repair didn't work I had to do a fresh. Backed up my saves this time but still had to reinstall the games.

@corbett3289 what happend when you hit repair? Also just fyi your games saves may also be backed up here automatically /home/deck/NSLGameSaves

The first time after NSL installing EA APP in desktop mode, EA automatically get started and works as expected. But next time, launching through steam, it won’t work, with error code background service crashed. What’s the difference between them. How can I launch without steam?
