I'm new to this fantastic project. I just flashed a Shelly 2.5 to create two stateless programmable buttons and the relays.
These appear as two separate tiles in the Home app, and I understand this was a deliberate design choice to allow assigning them to different rooms.
I was wondering if a "grouped" mode would be technically feasible, similar to commercial multi-button controllers that use a single tile. For devices like the Shelly 2.5 or especially the Shelly i3, this would significantly reduce UI clutter for users who prioritize a clean interface. If these is such an option already, please do point me to it.
Otherwise could this be offered as a user-configurable option - allowing to choose between separate tiles for flexibility or a single grouped tile for a cleaner look? I plan to convert my entire shelly fleet. I currently use
homebridge-mqttthingfor this and it would be quite a change for the others at home - if there separate tiles for each switch/button - making it a no-no to transition. But i personally do want to, as we are a "homekit only" home (no google or alexa) and theshelly-to-homekitinterface is clean and doesn't require a hub.I could find only one discussion related to a similar request, but the discussion changed mid way and there was no conclusion for a single tile with multiple stateless buttons, request.
Any insights on whether this is possible within HomeKit's limitations would be very helpful.
Thanks to the creators for the continued and amazing work on this project!
