I use this modbus code to help me track how much power I have in my battery, and how much solar energy my house is producing. If there is an excess above normal requirements then I can trigger my pool heater to run. That way my pool is only heated when my electricity is free and carbon neutral. I'm in the process of installing reverse cycle heating as well and plan to have it switched on and off (or at least to a lower setting) in a similar way.

i wonder if its possible to adjust the Host/slave function from homeassistant using your script?
i want to make a automation that when the sun is producing the host/slave option is disabled, and when the sun isnt producing enables the host/slave function again.
