I just discovered TodoTxtMac and think it's terrific. Nonetheless, software connoisseur that I am, I have a suggestion for an enhancement. Please forgive me if in my stupidity I am overlooking something TodoTxtMac already can do.

I'd like to be able to create quick filters like the following pseudocode:

filter if context is {Home, Phone, or Computer} and threshold is within the past month and due is {today or earlier}

There's probably some widget that can add such capability.

This is an enhancement request, but I don't know how to tag it as such.

Hi, @Gnossos. Thanks for adding this suggestion. Unfortunately, I am no longer actively supporting this project. I built a brand new app, called SwiftoDo Desktop, that is available in the Mac App Store, if you are interested.

Thanks, Michael. I didn't know about Swiftdo Desktop.

The App Store description says it was last updated in 2018, which shows it's being actively supported, but the App Store description doesn't make it seem much different from TodoTxtMac. I searched for a comparison but couldn't find one. Is there a list of differences somewhere?

Also, I've been burnt so often by products being discontinued or screwed up (think Wunderlist) that now I try to stick to open source software. I'd probably never have enough time to make changes to software that's been discontinued, but I have a (perhaps false) sense of security knowing if I need to, I can always hack the software I rely on. So while I'm fine with buying Switftdo Desktop, what kind of license does it have?

Hi, @Gnossos. You certainly do not have to buy SwiftoDo Desktop if you don't want to. If TodoTxtMac works for you, feel free to continue to use it.

SwiftoDo Desktop (App Store link) has a proprietary license and was last updated about a month ago. I rewrote the app for version 4.0, which was released earlier this year.
