React is full of so many impressive teachers and thinkers, and this list includes almost entirely men as far as I can see (including Bob Martin). If this is going to be a resource for a diverse group of developers, it should include thoughts from a diverse group of developers!

Hi @cassidoo !

Even though Sandi Metz is one of my main influences and she's prominently featured in the README, I agree that this is clearly not enough, this document would greatly benefit from including more thoughts from a more diverse group of people.

Some people submitted PRs adding links to the section 📚 Readings recommended to me under the collapsible section Thanks for all the PRs 🚜, coffee ☕, recommended readings 📚, and sharing of ideas 💡 (View contributors)... you might be inclined in doing the same.

Unrelated:

  • 98%++ of the people I follow on Github are women / non-binary, you might be interested in checking them out!
  • I enjoyed some of your tweets 🙂

Ah I did miss her when skimming, great, updated the issue. Thank you for considering adding more diverse voices!
