Copilot suggestions not triggered when a participant edits code

Describe what happened:

When a participant joins my session, Copilot completions do not get triggered when they edit code. However, if I edit code in the same file, that triggers and displays Copilot suggestions.

Both the other participant and I have valid Copilot subscriptions.

What was your system configuration?

Product and Version [VS/VSCode]: VS Code 1.97.0-insider (Universal)
OS Version[macOS/Windows]: macOS 14.7.2 (23H311), Darwin arm64 23.6.0
Live Share Extension Version: 1.0.5941
Target Platform or Language [e.g. Node.js]: TypeScript

Steps to Reproduce / Scenario:

1. Make sure you and the other participant have valid Copilot subscriptions
2. Start a session
3. Have the other participant type code, notice there are no suggestions
4. When you type code, Copilot suggestions are shown

I filed this issue after closing my session and restarting my editor so they are empty ☹
