Indeed, the request is comparable. I just added the dash to spaces. I let you see how manage this partial overlap. Best regards. |
@pemwi, dashes are already available. Depends on your keyboard layout, but they should be on the dash/hyphen key. Hope this helps |
@PesBandi it seems to correspond to my request, but I can't access to this choice. |
Hi @pemwi, Quick Accent determines what characters to show based on the virtual key code, not the actual character. What that means for you is that you have to press the key that normally produces the equals sign = to get the dash options. |
Hi PesBandi, thank you for the answer. I tried with =: no result! I tried
with englis/english and english/us layout: no results.
I tried on x86 and arm based computers. Same issue.
Everything works fine except the dash! I can't understand. Best regards.

Description of the new feature / enhancement
Use Quick Accent (PowerToys) to get the possibility to insert any kind of space or dash available (variable, fix, unbreakable, quadratin, half quadratin, quarter quadratin for the spaces, and all dashes used in typography).
Scenario when this would be used?
Each time you compose a text with the need to insert a specific dash or space.
Supporting information
the way Quick Accent is working for special accentuation seems to perfectly fit to this use. It just add a precious typographic ressource. Thank for this excellent set of utility!
