Steps to reproduce

Created a new setup to try the new feature, my idea was to create one which i can use at startup of the pc to check in on current affairs in my company. Like mail, planning documents etc..

✔️ Expected Behavior

My expectation was that it would recreate the setup as i had opened it. 2 different excell documents, mail, a browser & a certain notepad file.

❌ Actual Behavior

Mail worked as expected.
Browser did open, but as an open window. But i can imagine going to a specific page is asking too much. so i ignore this point.

The excell opened only 1 window, not in place of either 2 previously placed one's. It did open on the correct screen. Files itself didnt load.

Notepad opened, aswell as the right position, however i expected to have it open the file or shortcut. If possible i would like it to include filepaths within this.

I, too, have a similar problem.

When I launched the workspace, it opened 2 blank Notepads instead of the actual files.

(PowerToys v0.84.0, Windows 10 Build 19045.4780)

Thank you for your feedback.
All your problems (workspace related) should be solved with the new release 0.87 mid Dec.
Please retest and close the issue
One remark: Workspaces sees the running apps, not their content. If you want to open specific files, you have to add them as CLI arguments in the Workspaces editor. For some browsers a parameter for new window or new tab page is also needed.
