There are plans about that for sure (and possible you can still build it).

I "removed it for 0.6.0 so I could focus on getting the windows build to build.
So getting back Linux support will absolutely happen and if it is something you're interested in, I will start looking at that. It is likely not hard as nothing has changed fundamentally.
