First of all, I'd like to thank all of you for the interest, it's been great to see that this is useful for people.
Please don't hesitate to ask questions or send PRs!

I had to push a breaking change because of a misconfiguration of semantic-release in the original setup.

Previously we've been using the secrets.GITHUB_TOKEN which is the default token in the workflows. I was hoping to get away with it just to reduce the setup steps but it also came with the downside of semantic-release running into rate-limiting issues.

So from v2.0.0, you will have to configure a GH_TOKEN in your secrets and it should be a personal access token with at least the public:repo scope, but preferably with the repo and workflows scopes just to be on the safe side.
