Is there any way to make design better like little modernized and minimalist? If yes the design would attract more users to the app.

Like these that would be way cooler app even to other closed source competitors.

@meypod is working with a third party on developing a new UI and the app will be rewritten. It would be great if he shared the design concept with us (Figma or anything).
