For privacy . Why is the app using internet

this is to not bundle the extra adhan sounds into the app to reduce the app size
also the qibla map requires internet to load the map

however I understand your concern and I also have my concerns regarding third party stores redistributing the app,
so in the near future the qibla map and compass will be extracted into it's own app and all the adhan sounds will be bundled into the app after the rewrite and the internet connection permission will be removed

the rewrite is going to be in kotlin jetpack compose
please let me know if you have experience using kotlin jetpack compose
