Show highlight on action icon that has been tapped but server response not yet received

not seeing immediate visual feedback of tapping an action icon e.g boost or favourite causes confusion and multiple taps

Describe the solution you'd like

Action icon should acquire a subtle grey highlight immediately when tapped, which will be updated to colour highlight when server has responded

Describe alternatives you've considered

tapping multiple times to be sure icon has been hit is not much fun

this is an important quality of life enhancement
