I would like to analyze the temporal evolution of an indicator. That is to say, For instance, if yesterday, my indicator equaled X and today equals Y. I would like to have a graphic with X and Y as values.

The question may have an option that users can check / uncheck to watch the evolution of this query.
As all queries are not subject to this feature, It could be nice to implement this feature as an option of a query.

An other option may be to put the period time between two registrations of the value of the indicator according to the dynamic of the indicator)

you mean like a period-over-period indicator?

Well, I don't think it is a period-over-period. I mean, I want to analyze the evolution of the indicator itself.

For instance, my indicator counts the number of inhabitants in a city.
(on my dashboard, I only see my indicator displaying one single figure : the number of inhabitants)
Month 1 : 1000
Month 2 : 1500
Month 3 : 1750
Month 4 : 1780
Month 5 : 2000

After five months, I would like to analyze the evolution of the number of inhabitants in my city. The feature may then create a chart with the number of inhabitants (y values) and the months (x values).

The month-over-month period would have count the number of new inhabitants each month. But this is not what I want here. (It is possible I believe in Métabase yet).

Is it clearer ? Thank you
