I just installed the client on Manjaro and as soon as I selected the local directory, the program freeze

This is the ps aux situation:

blackpr+ 13392 0.5 0.0 2744 1760 ? S 17:26 0:00 bwrap --args 45 megasync
blackpr+ 13405 0.1 0.0 2744 1120 ? S 17:26 0:00 bwrap --args 45 megasync
blackpr+ 13406 2.7 0.3 1871804 125728 ? Sl 17:26 0:00 megasync

Also it seems that the problem is when I select the local directory.

I just notice that if I use the buttons uploads/downloads

the app works. So the problem boils down to just choosing directories for synchronization.

I solved my problem by following this guide which, it seems to me, installs a different
version of file manager

How to install megasync properly on Manjaro

System info:
Distributor ID:	ManjaroLinux
Description:	Manjaro Linux
Release:	23.1.4
Codename:	Vulcan

GNOME Shell 45.4

I confirm this is also happening to me in Arch Linux. The above mentioned workaround in Manjaro does not work for me.

My hunch is this is about some Java thing and how it can't properly interface with the system's local file dialog box.

Hopefully this will be fixed soon.

I recently changed to EndeavourOS and reinstalling Mega I preferred to do it directly with the version downloaded from the site and it works perfectly. So it could be a problem with the version in the AUR repository
