streams tab bug #540
Comments
Can you give me an example channel that exhibits this behavior? Sounds like this just needs better error handling for channels with no streams tab. |
This is the channel I got the error from https://www.youtube.com/@JasmineHardie I also have to used the channel id instead of that link so this one https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCMlK5j8VTQHD21a79_cnZxA |
Cheers, I'll take a look. |
@meeb I figure that you did look into this and it works, but I don't use this feature, at all. Please update the status of this issue. Thanks. |
Pretty sure this is resolved by retries. @Mrpuppyz is this fixed for you? |
I I'm very happy with the new addition of being able to index streams as well as videos. However I found that when I added a new channel that currently does not have any live streams I got this error
This channel does not have a streams tab
Rescheduling Index media from source
Causing the channel to not even begin to index for the first time. Maybe a good idea would be to have tubesync recognize this error after trying to index then decide to proceed without the live streams so the channel can be added allowing for the videos to download and if in the future the channel does have live streams it could still try to index them.
