Hello, and thanks for offering a useful and powerful app.

However, the problem is with syncing, and I have tried three email providers. The number of messages on the settings (and the Sync Outbox) only counts, messages are PENDING, but none gets synced.

As I would like to make this app work for me, I will asssist you with any data needed for debugging.

@nukedone thanks for raising this issue, I was planning to look at Sync soon anyway and make it work with as many IMAP servers as possible (and improve the UX of the assistant along the way, plus add documentation). I'm personally using it with an IMAP account hosted at DomainFactory and that's working fine for me for the most part. Sometimes it won't reconnect after the laptop wakes up from being suspended, but I haven't had the issue of not connecting at all.

Which providers did you try? Maybe I can set up and account with one of them and try for myself. Also, is there any useful output in Settings > Advanced > Logs?

Is 2-factor authentication enabled in the accounts you tried? I remember when trying with Gmail last year that I had to set up an app specific password and use that to make it work, as 2 FA isn't supported (yet).

Sorry for the late answer (I replied in my mail client, seems like it didn't make it here). Yes, I have 2FA set up, and app passwords created. It still doesn't sync.

@nukedone which operating system are you running on? Can you see any errors being logged in Settings > Advanced > Logs?

@nukedone quick update: I set up a Linux environment and I'm able to reproduce the issue, seems to be platform specific. Will try to fix as soon as possible.

@nukedone I found the issue, I believe. When I reproduced the issue, it had nothing to do with Linux but rather was an issue with a mismatch of keys, which get out of sync when regenerating the key on the desktop, and before scanning the updated config from a mobile device. In the linked PR, the fix is to skip the messages with the mismatch and proceed to the next message, instead of being stuck indefinitely.

@nukedone please check out the latest release 0.9.330+2032 that should fix this issue. Please kindly reopen when the issue persists (issue was closed by merging the PR). Thanks for reporting, very helpful in making the initial sync setup smoother.

On my Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S APK installs but opens only to blue screen. With changed icon.

@nukedone sorry about that. Do you have more information for me? App version, Android version? Also, language of the device? Odd, yesterday I was able to install the latest version on a Huawei android phone and get sync running without any problem at all.
