Documentation

Clear and concise documentation preserves knowledge, enabling teams to operate efficiently without over-reliance on specific individuals for answers. Over time, this minimizes the workload.

To improve our processes, we should prioritize discussing and documenting the following scenarios:

ZkSync Dependency Updates

Develop a clear strategy and schedule for updating zkSync dependencies. This should include guidelines on timing and identifying which dependencies require updates.

Upstream Repository Changes in Foundry ZkSync

Establish a plan for incorporating necessary changes into upstream repositories within Foundry zkSync.
As we implement new features, modifications to upstream abstractions in Foundry repositories will become necessary—for example, compiler updates related to zkSolc linking. Clear guidelines must be defined for managing these changes to avoid creating and maintaining additional forks.
