Hello, I just installed the addon and tried to run it on the 4.2.6 LTS version of Blender and it doesn't work, I am using windows 11.

Hi, haven't touched it in a long time. As a quick fix if you go to that file %appdata%\Blender Foundation\Blender\4.2\scripts\addons\blender_xatlas\export_obj_simple.py and comment out line 188 and 189, it appears to work correctly on my end. I'll release a small update for it later.

Should hopefully be fixed in https://github.com/mattedicksoncom/blender-xatlas/releases/tag/v0.0.9
Let me know if any deeper issues come up, it seems alright with just not using the function
